Content Management System (CMS) is software that facilitates management of a website’s pages and contents, including text, images, menus, and multimedia files. A good CMS has both a wide range of options and a user-friendly administrative interface.
Igniture uses two types of CMS: First, we use simple and user-oriented software for corporate websites with largely text-based content. Second, we customize a powerful CMS focused on scalability and features for websites containing a wide range of features and user-generated content.
Regardless of CMS we ultimately select for our client’s website, the administrator will be able to maintain it without any knowledge of HTML, databases and web development. If you can operate a browser and you’re familiar with Microsoft Word, you can maintain your own site.
Our CMS will install an application that allows you to:

- Add new pages
- Delete pages
- Add photos, images, and links
- Make updates anytime from anywhere
