

Skandinavisk Antik came to Igniture for help with the design of a new corporate identity and an online product catalogue. Starting only with their visual identity, we researched styles defined by classical Scandinavian designers in the 1960s such as Stig Lindberg and Karin Bjorquist, and drafted a fresh logotype that appealed to the Japanese customers’ tastes. We then created a look and feel that was applied to their website.
The website originally only contained a small number of products just to represent the unique Scandinavian antiques that the company sells in antiques fairs around Japan. The website then became an instant hit and now attracts a steady crowd of followers that includes veteran antiques collectors as well as young professionals looking for something original, which there is only one item available.
